PE保鲜膜用火点燃后，火焰呈黄色，迅速燃烧，有蜡烛燃烧的味道；而PVC保鲜膜由于含有氯元素，用火点燃后火焰呈黄绿色，没有滴油现象，离开火源后会熄灭，而且有强烈刺鼻的异味。
